WE NEED YOUR HELP!
One of the main ways that we raise money at our Rock N’ Brew Fall Fund-raiser is through the silent auction and we are in need of silent auction items. Please consider donating items or asking friends and family members who may have artistic hobbies or businesses for items. Gift Cards, Event Tickets, Jewelry, Vacation Rentals, Artwork or Gift Baskets are all ideas, but you can be creative as well! Please contact Michelle Schultz or Meredith Culbertson of the PTO at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions. Any donations collected can be dropped off at the school office. Summer office hours are M-TH 8:30 am - 2:00 pm.
September 10 for Sunday Classes K4- Grade 12
September 13 for Wednesday Classes K4-Grade 12
Forms are available online and in the Parish Center Lobby. Please do not wait until the first day to register! We need to prepare and some classes may be full.
If you home school your children for Religious Education, please remember to register them with the Parish Religious Education
office. It is important for us to know when children are approaching the age for Sacraments so that we can predict class sizes etc.
All children receiving Sacraments at Saint Paul
must attend classes to prepare for that Sacrament here at Saint Paul.

ë Confirmation-Eighth Grade or Above
Classes begin in September. Please email any questions to

following the 11:00 am Mass. An organizational meeting for volunteers will be on Tuesday, September 26 in the Parish Center at 7:00 pm. In order to provide the safest environment possible for the children of our Parish and our Community , we have asked everyone that works with or around children in our Parish to go through Safe Environment training. Beginning in 2004, the Diocese of Charleston has required that training to be VIRTUS.
This was a three hour class along with online bulletins. We have now switched to Safe Haven, an online training that can be done in your home. When it is completed , please print out a certificate and bring it to the Church Office.
We are asking anyone that took VIRTUS before 2012 to take the Safe Haven course as soon as possible to update our records. Later this year we will ask for the rest of our volunteers to take the course as well. Please see the insert in the bulletin for details about how to use the program. If you have any questions please email Norma Stokes at email@example.com
How does one become a member of the Catholic Church?
The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is a program by which the Catholic Church welcomes new members into its communal life. The RCIA program is a living experience of the church, and not just a series of classes to teach you about Christianity. These are lessons in the facts of the faith. These lessons are only one part of the experience of living the faith. This program allows you to learn and share with others who are on the same journey, living the faith with members of the Church. This conversion process, through prayerful discernment, will culminate in the reception of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist), or in the case of a Baptized Christian, (Profession of Faith, Confirmation, Eucharist, and Reconciliation) or for adult Catholics seeking to complete their Initiation (Confirmation, Eucharist, and Reconciliation) Anyone interested in learning more about the Catholic Church is welcome. The RCIA here at St. Paul will begin meeting on Monday night, September 11 at 7pm in the Conference Room of the Parish Center. For more information, you may call the Religious Education Office at 585-1858. If you or your spouse have been married and divorced prior to your current marriage, please contact Deacon Bob Mahaffey for an appointment to discuss the annulment procedure. Sponsors for our Candidates are always needed. Sponsors accompany candidates and catechumens through the process. By Church law, Sponsors need to be fully initiated themselves, at least 16 years of age, and must be a registered and active parishioner. If you are interested please call the RE office 585-1858.
Attention Senior Singles! The senior singles will meet for their monthly luncheon on Thursday, September 7th, at 11:30 am at Ruby Tuesday's on the eastside. Newcomers are welcome and old friends are cherished. Come and enjoy a good meal and good conversation! Please call Ed Babin at 585-5099 if you plan to attend, or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Due to the Labor Day holiday, announcements for the Sunday, Sept. 10 bulletin should be submitted by 4:00 pm, Sunday, Sept. 3. Send bulletin info to: email@example.com
