RESPECT LIFE COMMITTEE NOTES
Two of the Corporal Works of Mercy are feeding the hungry and giving drink to the thirsty. In doing these, we provide for physical needs as well as recognizing their value as fellow children of God. Providing food or drink, or supporting organizations that do, and avoiding wastefulness are both ways to do this.
Calling all men ages 18 and up to join us at the next Emmaus of the Carolinas retreat August 4, 5, 6, at the Blue Ridge YMCA in Black Mountain North Carolina. If you have any questions please feel free to call Joe Duffessy at (864) 431-2350 or Steve Miller at (864) 415-0936. We hope that you will join us and experience the opportunity to become closer to CHRIST.
