OFFICE HOURS

Beginning on Friday, June 23rd, the parish office will be closed on Fridays until after Labor Day.  Summer office hours after June 23 are:

Monday thru Thursday - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Friday - Closed

 

 

PATRIOTIC ROSARY

In honor of Fortnight for Freedom which highlights the importance of defending our first freedom of religious liberty, we will be saying the Patriotic Rosary today, Sunday, July 2nd at 3:00 pm in the Parish Church. 

GEOFFREY ROBERT MCVEY

Geoffrey Robert McVey, parishioner at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, son of Laura and Jim McVey, Jr. of Duncan, SC was awarded his Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout Award on June 13, 2017. For his Eagle project he designed and led the building of a walkway outside the pavilion at Jesus, Our RisenSavior Catholic Church. In 2016, Geoff earned his Four Pillars of Faith Award, the highest award in Catholic Scouting. This award was presented to him by Bishop Guglieilmone in Columbia, SC. He is an altar server at St. Paul and participant in the St. Paul Youth Group. He is a graduate of Spartanburg Day School (grades 9-12) and St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School (grades 1-8). Geoff is a member of Troop 79, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus MQOP Council 9575 located at Jesus, Our Risen Savior Catholic Church. In the fall, he will attend the University of Michigan College Of Engineering in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  Congratulations, Geoffrey!

 

DO YOU HAVE A TRUCK AND MUSCLES?

If so, we need your help in picking-up and transporting large items to the rummage sale from July 9 to 12th.  We need your help in sorting and displaying items for the sale.  If you can help, please call the parish office at 582-0674.  Drop-off begins on Saturday, July 8th and sales kick-off on late Thursday afternoon, July 13th with a cook-out provided by the Knights of Columbus.

matter how far from home.  Try to begin and end each day with a family prayer, thanking God for the blessings of your trip and for safe traveling.  Go to Catholic.org and search “travel prayers.”

 

SENIOR SINGLES

We will have our monthly luncheon for senior singles on Thursday, July 6th, at 11:30 am at Ruby Tuesday's.  Newcomers are welcome!
