Jesus said to his disciples:
"You are the salt of the earth.
But if salt loses its taste, with what can it be seasoned?
It is no longer good for anything
but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
You are the light of the world.
A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden.
Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket;
it is set on a lampstand,
where it gives light to all in the house.
Just so, your light must shine before others,
that they may see your good deeds
and glorify your heavenly Father."

Pro life crosses were placed on our lawn by the Respect Life Committee, the Knights of Columbus, and students from St Paul's middle school as a memorial to those babies lost to abortion. We recognize that life begins at conception and that most abortions occur well after the unique human fetus' heart is beating, brain waves are detectable, and most major body parts are formed. We mourn those babies and pray that mothers and fathers will recognize the precious gift they have been entrusted with whether wanted or unwanted. Abortion is not the answer. Please join us in praying for those whose hearts are closed to the truth of fetal development, uniqueness, and value. May we come to be a nation which respects all human life.
Scout Sunday will be celebrated on Sunday, February 12 at the 11:00 am Mass. All Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts are encouraged to wear their Class A uniforms and sit together in the reserved section of pews. Everyone is invited to enjoy a donut and coffee with us behind the church.
The Girl Scouts of Troop 2678 will be selling Girl Scout cookies outside the church after the 11 o'clock Mass on Feb. 26. They are $4.00/box. Please support our troop.
