Gospel JN 16:12-15

Jesus said to his disciples:
"I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now.
But when he comes, the Spirit of truth,
he will guide you to all truth.
He will not speak on his own,
but he will speak what he hears,
and will declare to you the things that are coming.
He will glorify me,
because he will take from what is mine and declare it to you.
Everything that the Father has is mine;
for this reason I told you that he will take from what is mine
and declare it to you."

In today’s gospel it says “But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth. Let the Spirit of truth bring you to the knowledge of God’s plan for your

marriage. The next Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekends are: Sep 30-Oct 2, 2016 in Myrtle Beach, SC and Nov 4-6, 2016 in Atlantic Beach, NC. Early sign up is recommended. For more information visit our website at: or contact us at or 803-810-9602.

Give Blood, The Gift of Life on Sunday June 5th. Plan to donate at our next Ecumenical Community Blood Drive on June 5th. The previous blood drive of February 28th saw our parish donate 28 of the 304 pints of blood donated by the members of seven participating Churches.  Due to a critical need for blood, all donors on June 5th will receive a pair of movie tickets, as well as 500 The Blood Connection points. Your pint of blood may save three lives, a child, a cancer victim, an accident victim. Please plan to donate here at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church on “Blood Sunday.”

Offer up one hour a week by sitting in the presence of Our Lord, Jesus Christ in the Adoration Chapel.  Call the office at 582-0674 for the code or contact Bonnie Murray at 864-573-5867 or Donna Cunningham at 864-266-9772.

If your “trash” is clean and useable, it might be someone else’s “treasure.” Please save your items for the Parish Rummage Sale on Thursday, July 21st, Friday, July 22nd, Saturday, July 23rd and Sunday, July 24th.  Collection of items will begin on Friday, July 15th.  Call the office (582-0674) if you can help with the sale.
