Christmas trees and wreaths

The youth of the parish are selling Christmas trees and wreaths. This is a major fundraiser for Youth Ministry at Saint Paul the Apostle. When making plans to decorate for the upcoming Christmas season please remember that we can supply you with garland, wreaths and trees cut fresh in the North Carolina mountains and  available for pick up or delivery on Saturday, November 28, 2015. Come and join us if you have questions about joining the Church. We would love to have the chance to meet you and have you join us on Monday evenings as we examine many of the Church teachings and as we prepare for Sacraments. Our topic for

Monday, November 16 is The Sacraments of Healing. George Wilson will be our presenter. The meeting will be in the conference room of the Parish Center at 7:00 pm. A nursery will be provided for small children.



Saint Paul Institute will begin meeting again on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the conference room of the Parish Center. The title of the next series is Keeping the Fire Alive.  The Saint Paul Institute is an adult faith formation opportunity and all adults in the parish are invited to join us. Come and bring a friend. Refreshments will be served. There will be a nursery available for small children if requested. Please call 585-1858 in advance to request a spot in the nursery.

Father Robert Brisson, a priest of the Prelature of Opus Dei, will visit Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1209 Brushy Creek Rd., Taylors, SC 29687, on Thursday November 19th, for an evening of recollections. The Women’s Recollection will be from 4:00 pm -5:30 pm and the Men’s Recollection will be from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm. An Evening of Recollection is similar to a short silent retreat. Its purpose is to help lay people sanctify their ordinary life in and through their work, family, and recreational activities.




The Angel Tree is here this week-end.  If you are interested in giving a gift to a child in need or to military personnel through The Blue Star Mothers, stop in the narthex after Mass this week-end and select a card with a description of items that are needed.  Deadline to return the unwrapped gifts to the

parish office is Friday, Dec. 18th.
