Sister Pamela Smith, SSCM, director of the Office of Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs for the diocese, will facilitate an online book launch and webinar for the "Ecumenical and Interreligious Guidebook: Care for Our Common Home".

The webinar will be held Jan. 25 from 11 a.m. to noon ET. Visit events/online-ecumenical-and-interreligious-guidebook-launch-and-webinar for the Zoom link and information.

This project has been underway for more than a year and a half, and the book is jointly published by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, the Catholic Association of Diocesan Ecumenical and Interreligious Officers, and the Catholic Climate Covenant.

"This guide offers insights into how Catholics can bring the riches of the Catholic theological tradition to ecumenical and interreligious discussions and actions that uphold the dignity and sanctity of our enviroment," said Most Rev. Joseph C. Bambera, Bishop of Scranton, N.J., and chairman of the Bishops' Committee on Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs for the USCCB.
